Alec Baldwin Pays for His Latest Hateful Rant

Lord, how many times will Alec Baldwin have to explain that he is not a raging bigot?

Earlier this year, he allegedly called a black photographer a "coon." He also attacked a British journalist on Twitter, calling him a "toxic little queen." (And he didn't think that was homophobic.) Last week he worked overtime: He shoved a New York Post reporter and cursed at a female TV reporter.

But it looks like he's finally getting his due. On Friday, MSNBC temporarily suspended the actor's talk show, Up Late With Alec Baldwin, after he was caught on video spewing anti-gay slurs at the paparazzi. Baldwin tweeted that what sounded like the word "f-g" in the video clip was actually the word "fathead." Sure. Anything is possible.

His daughter, Ireland Baldwin. took the opportunity to defend all of her father's off-color behavior this year:

Baldwin issued an apology in which he reaffirmed his commitment to gay rights. No word on if/when Baldwin will get his talk show back. But before he gets his show back, he should probably learn how to not say the wrong thing.
