Being a grandpa is a good look for Al Roker. The TODAY Show weatherman is taking a little break from delivering the national forecasts to spend the holidays with his family. And judging by the smile on his face in his photos, he’s having the time of his life.

“It was a wonderful #christmas2024 for us. I hope your holiday was loving and stress-free. Can’t help thinking about the suffering going on around the world, especially this time of year. #howareyou,” Roker captioned an adorable December 26 holiday photo dump on Instagram.

The famous weatherman posted pictures of the entire family – wife Deborah Roberts and their children, son Nick, daughters Leila and Courtney and their partners – wearing matching grey and red plaid Christmas pajamas, decorating Christmas cookies, and even taking a family Christmas walk. But, it was the newest addition to the family, Al’s adorable granddaughter Sky, who managed to steal the spotlight and get everyone talking. Fans couldn’t get enough of the little one, especially in pictures with Roker’s dog Pepper.

“Omg, I’m in love with Sky and Pepper together!” wrote one commenter. “That picture of Sky and Pepper!! and having all your kids with you Al! So different than last year at this time. Grateful and blessed! The world is such a tough place right now,” wrote another.

Courtney and her husband, Wesley Laga, welcomed their first child and the Roker’s first grandchild to the world in July. And the entire family is feeling grateful for the time together this year, especially as they remember the health scare which threatened their celebration the year before.

Roker had to miss hosting the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the lighting of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree spent some time in the hospital after he was admitted with blood clots in November 2022.
