What happened to vengeance being the Lord’s?! A North Carolina pastor took matters into his own hands after allegedly pushing a fast-food employee’s face into a deep fryer.
The High Point Police Department said on Dec. 28, a McDonald’s manager-in-training called her husband, complaining the employees she’s supposed to lead were giving her grief. When her hubby arrived, 57-year-old Dwayne Waden who’s been identified as a pastor of Elevated Life International Ministries, he allegedly commenced to whooping ass.

Her husband, 57-year-old Dwayne Waden, entered the business, went around the counter and placed his hands around the neck of the victim, pushing his head toward the deep fryer, according to police records. Waden also punched the victim several times in the face and did not stop until employees pulled him off of the victim.
The victim suffered large contusions to the forehead and right eye, along with scratches on his neck, according to police. Medic responded, but the victim chose to let his family take him to the hospital for his injuries.
The report says Waden ended up being charged with misdemeanor simple assault and was released on $1,000 just in time to attend watch night service… if he even went.
Can we sidebar about how church leaders have been caught in the most ridiculous situations? The internet is dragging Bishop T.D. Jakes for allegedly being one of Diddy’s freak-off attendees and also for an out-of-context clip of him asking his congregation if they’ve ever been “sWaLLowEd uP.” Pastor Mike Todd went viral (again) for violently dunking himself into a tub of water on the pulpit and received a bomb threat on Christmas Eve, per KOCO. Bishop William Murphy is being chastised by Black America for having the whole church swag surf their way into the New Year.
If Pastor Waden is allowed back on the pulpit, just know he’s probably cooking up quite the comeback sermon.
