“It’s been one hell of a ride!” model and actress Nazanin “Naz” Mandi told Vogue of her 13-year romance with the Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter simply known as Miguel (last name: Pimentel), which the two celebrated on Saturday with a 260-guest wedding at Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Santa Susana, Ca.

The two have been together since 2005, when Naz interviewed her future husband during promotion for his first music video. “I asked him a question that wasn’t on my Q&A,” she said, “which was: ‘All the ladies want to know, do you have a girlfriend?’ And he smiled and said, ‘No, but I’m looking for one.’ We exchanged numbers, and he called me the next day to ask me out on a date.”

For their nuptials at the base of the Santa Susana mountains, the bride wore a romantic lace gown by Monique Lhuillier. “I always knew I wanted Monique Lhuillier to design my wedding dress for the ceremony,” she told Vogue. “Something formfitting and lace with a long train. My veil is a classic Spanish style Mantilla.”

In fact, the entire ceremony reportedly had a Latin flair, from the Spanish-style estate that served as its setting, to the Mariachi-based live band, to the traditional Mexican feast at the reception (though the evening ended with a burger truck from Cali favorite In-N-Out). Naz opted for outfits by Cushnie for both her rehearsal dinner and reception, telling Vogue, “We went with classic cuts with a modern edge.” Miguel and his groomsmen kept their look traditional in custom tuxedos.

The couple’s first dance? “Always & Forever” by Heatwave. “Music is always going to be a part of everything we do, first and foremost,” Miguel told Rolling Stone, prior to the big event. “We really wanted the music to tell our story.” With that in mind, the two also shared their respective wedding playlists, which you can listen to below. And yes, there’s some Miguel.

“I mean, a wedding playlist wouldn’t be complete without Miguel, the ultimate sex symbol,” Naz told Rolling Stone. “I had to add him.” Her groom’s response: “I love you for that.”

‘Til death do them part, apparently.
