Actress Mia Farrow disputed Naomi Campbell's claim that she received dirty little pebbles from former Liberian dictator Charles Taylor. Farrow testified that the supermodel told her that she had received a "huge diamond" from him. In sworn testimony last week, Campbell admitted receiving two or three "dirty-looking stones" after a 1997 dinner with Taylor at Nelson Mandela's home in South Africa. She also said that she did not know who sent them. Anyone paying attention to Campbell's testimony knows that she contradicted herself while testifying. We're not surprised that her testimony contradicts Farrow's testimony. We are surprised that she appears to be trying to protect someone accused of horrific war crimes. That's not really "model behavior" in our book.
