If there was anyone from Sunday night’s Oscars who had the time of their lives, it was Gary from Chicago and his fiancee, Vickie. The lucky couple were part of a tour-bus group that got to mix and mingle with celebrities in the midst of the award show.

Gary Coe and Vickie immediately went viral and even got the chance to be fake-married by Denzel Washington. But now Black-ish star Anthony Anderson is offering to officiate their wedding.

“The couple from Chicago, I am actually ordained to marry people, so if they are here, I will marry them. It didn’t really count when Denzel did it. I’m actually ordained to marry people in the state of California. So if they’re around, I was trying to get them up here so I could marry them on this show. Why wait till July?” Anderson said.

Coe spoke about his newfound fame in an interview with ABC7, and about how it’s part of his redemption song after having spent 20 years in jail.

“Change is possible. It’s a sad day to be in prison for 20 years and not be able to be a dad, granddad to your children. You know what my son told me today, man, and I almost come to tears. He said he’s proud of me. So to hear your children say that they’re proud of me means the world to me,” Coe said.

As far as Vickie? Let’s just say she might prefer being fake-married by Washington, because her fandom goes way back.

“I’ve been watching Denzel since he was on St. Elsewhere. Oh my God. I could die and go to heaven right now,” she said.

Gary and Vickie forever!
