Love advice is in the air. In the days since Cardi B announced she and Offset were splitting up last week, niggas have been lining up to offer unsolicited—and unqualified—counsel.
Shortly after the breakup announcement, it was revealed Offset had reportedly been cheating with model Summer Bunni. In the midst of the madness, Offset has been heavily emoting all over social media—in all CAPS CAPS CAPS.
Sidenote: Though Offset’s message was initially interpreted as the blameworthy follow-up to “y’all won,” several folks on Twitter pointed out there’s a possibility Offset simply neglected to punctuate his tweet, so his message might’ve been more like, “FUCK. Y’ALL, I MISS CARDI.”
Anyway.
While Offset is in shambles, Cardi is cool. She even got creative with her “Motorsport” lyrics during a performance at the Jingle Ball in New York.
“I get upset off. I turn Offset on. I told him the other day, yeah, we getting a divorce,” she enthusiastically rapped.
In a cryptic Instagram post on Monday evening, the “Be Careful” rapper posted a mute video decked out in her lavish watches on set to tease an upcoming music video for her new single, “Money.”
“MONEY MUSIC VIDEO WILL BE OUT SOON,” she captioned the post with kissy face emojis.
Apparently joining Ray J in a love advice panel no one RSVP’d for, 50 Cent decided to comment on Cardi’s post with some suggestions.
“That’s a cute out fit [sic],” said the apparent fashionista. “But, you gotta go home. That boy love you girl.”
Wow, Super Soul Sunday is shaking.
He then followed up with another comment, stating, “No divorce, ok chill out.” That’ll fix everything. Thanks, Curtis!
According to Metro, 50 also went full mediator and reached out directly to Offset to offer his romantic recommendation: Win Cardi back.
“No you not getting a divorce Offset, go get her man,” 50 told Offset. “I don’t give a fuck what she say, just kiss her ass man fuck it.”
I suppose if the former hip-hop love birds don’t get back together, 50 will obtain the strap?
