50 Cent dug deep into his pockets and made a donation to Autism Speaks since coming under fire after he posted a video mocking a teenager.

The teenager's family threatened 50 Cent with a lawsuit if he didn't apologize or make a donation to the teen's GoFundMe. The rapper did eventually apologize but also made a donation to Autism Speaks.

"I want to turn this misunderstanding into an understanding," he said in a statement. "There are people that are ignored, mistreated and neglected with disabilities that need our support. Today, I have made a donation of $100,000 to this worthy cause through Autism Speaks."

The donation came after many bars in the Cincinnati area boycotted the rapper's vodka. In a statement, a spokesperson for Effen Vodka said that it did not condone 50 Cent's behavior:

As a brand that considers social responsibility the highest of priorities, Effen Vodka does not condone the recent behavior of 50 Cent. We have expressed to him our profound disappointment for his actions, which are in no way representative of the brand's values.

In the video below, Farrell spoke out about the incident.

Hopefully the rapper has learned a lesson about ridiculing people. But something tells me he probably hasn't.
