George Davon Kennedy has joined two other college students who stand accused in an alleged gang rape that reportedly took place on a Panama City, Fla., beach in broad daylight, the New York Daily News reports. Kennedy, a student at Middle Tennessee State University, was arrested Tuesday in connection with the March assault, which was partially caught on videotape.

According to Florida officials, Kennedy, whose age has not been revealed, did not participate directly in the sexual assault, but he is reportedly seen in the footage egging on the other attackers as the alleged rape takes place.

CNN reported that Alabama officials discovered the video and then turned it over to Florida officials, who later arrested two students, Ryan Calhoun and Delonte Martistee, from Troy University in connection with the assault. Both students have been suspended from the university.

According to the Daily News, the alleged victim, who is 19, told authorities that she thinks she may have been under the influence of a drug given to her, because she does not remember the incident. She does recognize herself in the video, however.

A Florida official said that the video is probably one of the most “disgusting, repulsive, sickening things” he’s seen this year on Panama Beach.
