As much as award shows are about, winning hardware and putting on great live performances, it’s also about what the celebrities are wearing on the red carpet.

No, it’s not the Met Gala, but celebrities still love to come to the BET Awards looking their best. Some do, but many others also don’t. We don’t mean to hurt any feelings, but here are some of the worst red carpet fits at the 2023 BET Awards.

Ray J is one of the most entertaining figures out here, but he did not entertain with this fit. The all-over print just doesn’t do it.

I’m all for big-boy fashion, but this fit would’ve been alright if the orange crocodile skin wasn’t involved.

Eva Marcille plays one of the best gangsters on TV, but I think even her character on All the Queen’s Men would disapprove of this getup.

Yes, Michael Blackson is a comedian, and can’t always be taken seriously. But c’mon bro, it looks like his fit was drawn by a 5-year-old.

Maybe I’m just out of touch, but this is a weird ass vest NLE Choppa is wearing.
