The 2019 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs) ceremony has come and gone. The big winner of the night? Mr. Aubrey Drake Graham.
Sure everyone couldn’t stop talking about a certain bootleg Beychella performance or Cardi’s red carpet slip, but let’s roundup the actual wins! It’s why we’re here, after all. Well, maybe. Certainly why they’re (the nominated artists) there.
Drake racked in 12 wins on Wednesday night, including Top Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Song, and more. With these wins, Drake broke the all-time record at the BBMAs with 27 total awards. He has the most BBMAs statuettes of any artist, ever!
The next big winner of the night was Cardi B with 10 total awards — 6 as a solo artist and 4 as a featured artist on Maroon 5's hit, “Girls Like You.”
Other artists who racked up multiple wins included Ella Mai, Beyoncé, and Jay-Z.
