This past Friday, police arrested the two men who they suspect are responsible for the killing of 1-year-old Antiq Hennis of Brooklyn, N.Y., according to the Daily News. Although they received no help from Antiq Hennis' father, Anthony Hennis, who was the original target and believed to have key information, police were able to track down Daquan Breland, 23, and Daquan Wright, 19, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., with the help of one of Breland's neighbors.
Breland, who is alleged to be the shooter, bragged about the shooting until he realized he'd missed his intenteded target.
The buffoon shut up when told the bullet pierced little Antiq Hennis, and cops later said Breland was visibly upset by his role in the child’s death.
But not enough to turn himself in. Breland, who sports a stomach-turning “Family Comes 1st” tattoo on his neck, surrendered meekly Friday after a nearly weeklong manhunt in the cold-blooded murder, cops said.
The 23-year-old was lying face-down on the floor of a Wilkes-Barre, Pa., apartment when the NYPD and U.S. marshals burst into his bedroom around 7:30 a.m., said Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly.
The arrest took place hours before Antiq's funeral.
