Authorities are looking for help identifying two young children who were found abandoned in Long Beach, Calif., CBS Los Angeles reports.
Two boys, roughly ages 1 and 2, were found unattended near a busy intersection. Police believe that the children are siblings. Police have not been able to find anyone who saw the children left at the location where they were found.
Security videos do show people attempting to help the children find their parents. Police could find no trace of the children’s parents after being called to the scene.
The children have been released to the custody of the Department of Children and Family Services. Anyone who recognizes the children should contact the Long Beach Police at 562-435-6711.
