Wisconsin Attorney General Brad Schimel says that two body cameras captured the fatal police shooting of Sylville Smith in Milwaukee, CBS News reports.

According to the report, the vantage points of the two videos are similar. Smith was shot to death Aug. 13 by an officer after fleeing a traffic stop. Authorities say that footage from the officer's body camera clearly shows Smith holding a hand gun and turning toward the officer at the time he was shot, the network reports.

Schimel said authorities were looking at the officer's video as well as a second video, but added that neither will be released until after the county prosecutor makes a decision as to whether to charge the officer involved in the case. That officer has not yet been formally identified, although there have been reports circulating a name and image of a 24-year-old patrolman and identifying him as the shooter.

Family members have said that Smith and the officer knew each other prior to the fatal encounter.
