If I were to make a list of all the things the world does not need right now, it would include Donald Trump as president of the United States, another nuclear war, self-driving cars, and a Taylor Swift cover of the Earth, Wind & Fire classic “September.”
Because we have been living in our very own bizarro world since Nov. 8, 2016, you know that Donald Trump is, in fact, president and that any day now he will launch us into nuclear war with North Korea; self-driving cars are already out on the road killing innocent people; and in what I can only guess is some type of messed-up Friday the 13th prank, Taylor Swift just released her “folksy” version of the EWF funky soul classic.
This is sooooo disrespectful. Maurice White did not die for this. I need to understand why this is happening.
Taylor Swift needs her ass whooped.
The song was recorded as part of the Spotify Singles series, and I want to beat Taylor Swift and everyone at Spotify at the same damn time.
There are certain songs you don’t mess with, especially if you don’t have the range, and we all know Taylor Swift has all the range of a dial tone.
Seriously, girl. What were you thinking?
Well, since I had to hear it, you have to hear it, too.
Give the track a listen and let me know what you think of it, and Taylor Swift, in the comments.
