Looks like President Vladimir TrumPutin is having trouble finding a law firm that’s willing to represent his lying ass in the Russia investigations, and that’s because the president has proved himself to be an untrustworthy client.
According to several sources who spoke with Yahoo! News, four major law firms have passed on the opportunity to take on Ol’ Donnie Boy because they don’t believe the president would pay—or, even more importantly, actually listen to their advice.
As such, this Baller Brand-ass administration is having trouble mounting a solid defense on the verge of ex-FBI Director James Comey’s highly anticipated testimony about Mother Russia’s name being on the milk in the White House fridge.
High-profile names in the legal profession who told TrumPutin to kick Russian rocks include “Brendan Sullivan of Williams & Connolly; Ted Olson of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher; Paul Clement and Mark Filip of Kirkland & Ellis; and Robert Giuffra of Sullivan & Cromwell,” Yahoo! News reports.
“The concerns were, ‘The guy won’t pay and he won’t listen,’” one lawyer close to the White House told Yahoo! News.
TrumPutin’s chief lawyer, Marc E. Kasowitz, is severely out of his depth because this isn’t a slumlord case or a public relations dispute, but a complex congressional and Justice Department investigation.
Another factor in the decision to say nyet was the president’s putrid policy, which firms did not want attached to them, believing that it could “kill recruitment.”
Surely there’s a Russian firm that could help him out.
